The Secret Diary of a TFL Apprentice - Hoda (Day 2)

What's it like to be an apprentice at Transport for London? In her second diary entry, apprentice Hoda shares her diary with us, telling us about her application and sharing her tips for other people applying for an apprenticeship.

Hoda Al Halfi is a first-year project management apprentice at Transport for London. In this series we go behind the scenes of her apprenticeship and find out what it's really like to be a TfL apprentice.

How did you apply?

I applied to the scheme which involved submitting a CV, filling in an online application and a number of short tests.

What happened next?

I was contacted through e-mail to inform me of the next steps. I was luckily invited to an assessment centre along with other potential candidates.

What tips do you have for other people applying for apprenticeships?

If I could give any advice, I’d say give it a go! You have nothing to lose and you most surely won’t regret not applying in the first place (oh yes and before I forget, please apply before the deadline, don’t leave it last minute like I did!)
